Announcing: Cubmaster Hiking Series 2022-2023

Click here for information on upcoming hikes!

Cub Scouts of all ages are introduced to hiking as a way to explore the outdoors, promote physical health, and gain confidence. Our Scouts learn about the essential items that they should bring with them when heading into the outdoors, as well as good environmental stewardship through Leave No Trace.

Cubmaster Hike Series

In addition to age-appropriate hikes as part of their rank advancement, members of our pack have the option to participate in our annual Cubmaster hikes. Scouts who complete every hike can earn various awards, including the opportunity to make their own personalized hiking staff. Our most recent Cubmaster hike series included:

1.3 miles on the Upland (Green) trail to the Beaver Pond (Orange) trail.

1.2 mile loop from the Annapolis HS track down to the creek and back.

3.1 mile loop from the Nature Center to the Chesapeake Bay and back.

1.5 miles from the dam (off Defense Hwy) east along the Overlook & Woodland trails.
